At the G7 Osaka-Sakai Trade Ministerial Meeting, the Japanese government adopted our shitatari as a gift to the ministers of the participating countries as part of their hospitality.

Thank you for your continued patronage.

I am Hiroshi Nakagawa, the man in charge of the mysterious stainless sake cup “shitatari”.

As part of the Japanese government’s hospitality at the G7 Osaka-Sakai Trade Ministers’ Meeting held in Osaka and Sakai on October 28-29, 2023, our shitatari was adopted as a gift for the ministers of the participating countries.
Since the meeting was held in Osaka and Sakai this time, the inscription on the back of the sake cup read “Made in Osaka Japan” to show our commitment to manufacturing in Osaka.

We also wrapped the sake cup in a newly created furoshiki cloth and handed it out.

We also printed “Made in Osaka Japan,” which we value, under the brand logo on the wrapping cloth.

We also created a story and concept sheet in English and enclosed it with the package.

Thank you very much for the opportunity.

For the first time, Shitatari was able to cross the ocean.

To everyone involved

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you.
