Dear Sir or Madam,
We appreciate your showing interest in our shitatari.
We have received the following comments from a Japanese restaurant in Paris, which actually had a business meeting with us during our recent trip to Europe and tried our products.
I had a sake tasting with the head chef using this shitatari.
I was very surprised to find that the taste of sake became deeper and fuller.
The mouthfeel was so soft that it did not feel like metal.
I was surprised that the sake poured from the glass or clay cups was more elegant and softly silken than the sake poured from glass or clay cups.
The chef commented that the sake seemed to have a softer and softer impression when drunk with shitatari, as if the alcohol characteristic of sake had been subdued.
The shitatari is made from a round stainless steel bar with a high coefficient of thermal expansion. The temperature of well-chilled sake is immediately transferred to the sake cup, and the sake temperature can be felt through the sake cup.
Thank you very much for visiting us on such short notice and for your feedback and opinions.
Sincerely yours,
Hiroshi NAKAGAWA
